Solar & Storage Live Review
AlphaESS UK recently participated in the Solar & Storage Live exhibition at The NEC in Birmingham. Solar & Storage Live is the UK's largest renewable energy exhibition showcasing the technologies at the forefront of the transition to a greener, more innovative and decentralised energy system.
This year saw 20,000+ attendees, including 250+ exhibitors, 300+ speakers, 60+ start-ups, and 30+ partners and associations, where Industry leaders shared their views and expertise on key topics such as the energy security bill, new technology, and financing.
AlphaESS UK was one of the 250 exhibitors over the three-day event, and we also had two installer training sessions where our team showcased our cutting-edge energy storage inverters and innovative battery solutions.
The event proved to be an invaluable experience for the company, offering numerous insights and opportunities for growth. We wanted to bring all our audiences up-to-date on the event, from those who attended to those who unfortunately couldn’t make it.
The following explores what worked well for AlphaESS UK at the event and the valuable feedback we received from customers, but first, it’s time to announce our event competition winner…
On Stand Competition Winner
We ran a visitor competition to win £200 worth of Amazon Vouchers as part of the exhibition. We had a great response to the competition. The winner, chosen at random, was Graham Bell, a Sales Surveyor at Amelio Solar Energy.
Graham received the £200 voucher, as shown in the picture, and his colleagues hope some of the spending will be on sweet treats for the office. Graham was non-committal about this!
Showcasing AlphaESS Battery Energy Storage Systems
AlphaESS UK exclusively supplies through trade distributors, and we were delighted to be joined by some of those key partners who were exhibiting also.
We ensured all departments within the company were represented on the stand, which allowed us to answer all questions from knowledgeable renewable installers, showcasing our excellent product range and our team's collective knowledge and support. This collaborative approach helped build trust and credibility with attendees and ensured the stand was busy over the course of the event.

Flagship Product Launch
The event was also the perfect time to showcase AlphaESS flagship H30–an air-cooling outdoor hybrid-coupled energy storage system capable of both on-grid and off-grid operations. Additionally, H30 can be programmed to discharge and meet the energy demand on a project basis, designed for small businesses. The most notable design for this system is the plug-and-play battery module installation, which makes the installation process even more straightforward.
The H-30 was a focal point for customers visiting the stand. It became a conversation starter and drew inquisitive visitors eager to learn more about the product's capabilities.
Customers with established relationships took the time to visit AlphaESS UK's stand, demonstrating the strength of existing partnerships and customer loyalty. These visits underscored the importance of solid relationships backed by our excellent products.
The stand design created a significant visual impact, attracting the attention of event attendees. A highly knowledgeable technical and installer support team enhanced the experience for visitors to the stand, where attendees could address technical enquiries, receive expert answers from AlphaESS UK staff well-versed in installing AlphaESS products, and provide in-depth knowledge about the company's products.
